Paul Herman, CPA

Paul started Herman & Company over 40 years ago. Prior to going out on his own, Paul worked at Arthur Young & Company for seven years. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA), New York State Society of CPA’s, National Council of CPA Practitioners, and the Estate Planning Council of Westchester. Paul earned a MBA from Columbia University in accounting and finance, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Union College in economics.

Matt Herman, CPA

Prior to joining Herman & Company, Matt spent six years at Epoch Investment Partners on the Quantitative Risk and Analytics Team. Matt’s prior experience includes similar roles at Franklin Templeton and Clay Finlay LLC. Matt holds a B.S. in finance from Lehigh University and a master’s in accounting from St. John’s University.

Ricky Pires

Ricky worked as an Assistant Professor of Cost and Management Accounting in the University of Aveiro, Portugal. Most recently he has worked as a Staff Accountant for public accounting firms in New York and New Jersey. He has strong experience in bookkeeping, accounting, sales tax, payroll tax and both individual and business taxes. Ricky earned a master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He is also a Certified Accountant in Portugal.

Natalia Suzuki

Prior to joining Herman & Company, Natalia worked in the Accounts Receivable department of Kesef Accounting Service LLC in Montvale, NJ. Her previous experience includes 10 years of working in the capacity of volunteer and accountant/bookkeeper for various non-profit organizations.

Natalia earned a qualification of Accountant-Economist specializing in Accounting and Auditing from the Baikal State University of Economics and Law in Russia. She took graduate level classes as part of Master of Professional Accountancy Program from the University of South Dakota. She has passed all sections of the CPA exam and is currently finishing up the experience requirement.
